Welcome To
The Online
Guide to Employers of
Architects
and Engineers
Greetings, architectural and engineering
job-seekers! This website is designed to provide you with a unique and
highly valuable service: With just a few clicks of your mouse, you can
now quickly and conveniently identify and research potential employers, as
well as view the current job openings of those potential employers -
and, in many instances, submit your resume online directly to identified
companies for immediate consideration!
Here's how it works: You first
search for prospective employers based
on a wide variety of criteria (or alternatively work off a
list of all employers). A list of
potential employers matching your search criteria is then displayed - simply
clicking on any employer's name then brings up a highly informative
descriptive profile of that company, presented in a standardized format (click here for an
example). Included within each company's profile is a direct weblink to
the "job openings" section of that company's website, thereby giving you
instant "one-click" viewing access to all job/career opportunities currently
available with that company. And in most cases, potential employers have an
online resume submittal system in place (or alternatively, a designated
email address) that will then allow you to quickly and conveniently submit
your resume directly to the company for immediate consideration!
What employers are included?: The
employer focus of this website is on "A/E Design Firms" -
firms that provide architectural and/or engineering services to clients (typically
business/industry or governmental entities). Such firms are also commonly
referred to as "consulting firms." We have
nearly 300 such
employers profiled inside already, covering all 50 states (including
both Alaska and Hawaii!) and performing an absolutely amazing variety of
highly interesting and challenging architectural and engineering work on a
daily basis - to find out more about them and the job/career opportunities
they currently have, simply start by clicking on the
"Employer Search" button located in the header above.
The "bottom line": So now, instead of
sending out resumes blindly without really knowing much about a company - or
wasting valuable time wading through "monster" job sites containing an
overwhelming avalanche of job postings for anything from "accountant" to
"zoo-keeper" - you can use this website to "do things right" (that is,
properly research prospective employers) while being able to stay focused on
just what you're interested in - namely architectural and engineering jobs!
So bookmark this site today.
Good luck in your job search!
